"Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, depressed or anxious? Are you living your life to your full potential? Emotional pain puts a strain on all aspects of life. It may feel like it will never end. I want to let you know that change is within reach. The step to get help is a challenging and very powerful one and you should be proud of that moment.
I am currently a master's student pursuing a Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Walden University. I have held an advocate certification through my experience working in a domestic violence and sexual assault center. I have worked with adults in both individual and group settings. My background includes working with individuals who experienced domestic/sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma and stressor-related disorders. I also speak Spanish fluently if services in Spanish are needed.
I utilize a combination of a Person-Centered approach, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Strength-based, and Solution-focused approach.
This is a safe space, free of judgment for clients of all ethnic, cultural, religious, and sexual orientations/identities where you can feel comfortable opening up. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I am here to support you and help you in your journey of self-growth and healing."
