JASMINE LUTHER (she/her/hers)
Mental Health Counselor Trainee
There is power in seeking help for yourself! Together we can work to unravel the past and prepare for the future. I work mainly from a person-centered approach to address stress, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, fears and phobias, addiction recovery, coping mechanisms and more! This style of therapy is a conversation where you have the reins. I also practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a mindfulness-therapy, to help identify your goals, triggers and values. My goal is to help you embrace your thoughts and feelings and engage with your true self. Let's map out a way for recovery and get you back on track for growth and healing.
I am currently a graduate student at Walden University, obtaining my master's in clinical mental health counseling. I received my bachelor's in science at the University of South Florida. My experience is based mostly in addiction rehabilitation, outpatient mental health, and minor case work. I have worked with many culturally and economically diverse populations, and offer a non-judgmental stance to all communities.
Areas of focus: stress, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, fears and phobias, addiction recovery, coping mechanism, and more.
