Text Therapy

How It Works

  1. Pick a plan that seems best for you right now.

  2. Chose a therapist that you would like most to talk to.

  3. Schedule your Text Therapy Intake, which is a 45-minute live Video Intake Session through our HIPAA-compliant Telehealth service. You can do this from any web-enabled device.

  4. You will be sent intake paperwork to complete and sign online. You do not need to print, scan, or mail any of the documents. You also have the option of saving a copy for your own records.

  5. You will meet with your therapist during the Video Intake Session.

  6. After you complete your Intake Session, you can begin to use the HIPAA-compliant private messaging to communicate with your therapist as much and as often as you like at your convenience.

    • Your therapist will respond to you each of the 5 days they are available. You will receive an email every time the therapist responds.

    • Additional video sessions can be scheduled online to discuss deeper issues live.

Technology

  • We use a HIPAA-compliant client portal for all Telehealth and private messaging services.

  • You can access your messages from any web-enabled device.

  • There are NO applications (apps) to download and update.

  • You will receive an email every time your therapist responds so you won't miss a thing.

PRIVATE PAY

This means you will pay all costs out of pocket and
will NOT use insurance of any kind at this time.

You can change this later as your situation may change.

  • Your payment method is added during intake paperwork. 

  • Your first month's fee will be charged on the date of your Intake Session.
    Example: Your Intake Session is on 4/10/2020, then you are paid in full until 5/10/2020.

BASIC: $150 per month SALE: $100/mo

  • Unlimited text messaging with responses from your therapist 5 days per week.

  • You can add 30-minute video sessions at any time for $40 each, charged at the time of your video session.

 

BETTER: $200 per month SALE: $150/mo

  • Unlimited text messaging with responses from your therapist 5 days per week.

  • 2 Live 30-minute Video Sessions per month.

  • You can add 30-minute video sessions at any time for $35 each, charged at the time of your video session.

BEST: $250 per month SALE: $200/mo

  • Unlimited text messaging with responses from your therapist 5 days per week.

  • 4 Live 30-minute Video Sessions per month.

  • You can add 30-minute video sessions at any time for $30 each, charged at the time of your video session.

INSURANCE

This means that you want to use your current health insurance benefits to pay for your services at this time.

You may still have a copay and/or deductible.

  • Your insurance information is entered during intake paperwork, as well as a payment method for copays and/or deductibles owed.

Text Therapy and Telehealth are NOT emergency service providers. If you have an emergency or are in crisis and need immediate assistance, call 911 or text 988 to receive help right away.

What If...

What if... I don't have a webcam?

Please call our office to make arrangements for the Video Intake Session.

What if... I want to change my plan?

You can change your plan at any time and the fees will be recalculated.

What if... I don't hear back from my therapist?

This service is not like traditional text messaging where you can expect an immediate response. You will hear back from your therapist at least once on each of the 5 days per week that they are available. If for any reason you believe it has been longer than that, you can contact our main office.

What if... I don't like my therapist?
You need to feel a good fit with your therapist for therapy to be effective. If you are unhappy with your therapist, you can request a different one or withdraw from treatment at any time.
